I have been blinded by more than the glare of the sun

and been sent spinning off treacherous winding roads

I have fallen down the steps further than I care to admit

that’s what too much whiskey and the wrong man can do…

next time I’m staying home and eating ice cream!

  9. There are some mates that fit.
    Our first was a young marriage, this one seems right. We have ice cream before going to bed and it has lasted 48 years.

  11. The choice of "whiskey" fits so well with the photo. There is definitely a strong liquors vibe in that gaze. Still, like the speaker... I, too, would always go for ice cream.
