Linking with Wednesday Muse # 5 "Let's Dance"
Today Toni is asking us to write an easy peasy Quadrille.
It is a poem that is exactly 44 words, not including the title.
Thank you Toni for another wonderful Wed prompt!
Here is my attempt at this:
Raindrops dance upon my window
Thoughts dance upon my mind
Waves dance upon the ocean
The clouds dance upon the sky
My heart beats to a rhythm the moon gives
Keeping movement to time’s own dance
Its two steps forward and three steps back.
May the one forward be loooolong leaps in perfect company!
ReplyDeleteI love how you bring ocean and sky and a speaker's spirit together.
This is lovely, Carrie. Love the dance theme throughout.
ReplyDeleteOh I love the theme of dance in this! And the bringung tigether. Love all of the dances in this. Absolutely wonderful.

ReplyDeleteIsn't that always the way?
ReplyDeleteYes for sure! Just can't get ahead when your set back more than you move forward. 😎
ReplyDeleteSteps back to remember the good times? This feels joyous, regardless. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the union you have formed throughout this Quadrille, such a beautiful dance!
