Light on My Feet

Dancing is like dreaming with your feet! ~Constanze

My other contribution was a more negative than I think the prompt deserved.  So I decided to do another a bit more on the light side.  So here it is:

Light on my feet would not describe my true pace
cause Fred Astaire and I were never soul mates
in fact if he had ever asked me to dance cheek to cheek
I think he would have ended up with injured feet
You see I am known for stepping on toes
and where I will fall no one knows
I am awkward with no grace to bestow
with a bunion the size of  Colorado
so now you know not to ask me to dance
if you do you are taking your feet's health in your hands.

  2. Very humble, Carrie. I did dance with one whose feet were the lightest. She was a proffesional, the dancing star and lead instructor on our QM2 cruise ship, a young small, I felt her to be fragile, young lady from Russia. She could read my mind and I never felt as if I was leading her. But it seemed as she wasn't leading either. I won't ever forget our dance. And not because I learned much.
